Faiza's career spans fourteen years with experience in strategic supply chain and procurement leadership positions, both in the public and private sector. Within these roles she has delivered complex transformational change across multiple functions and multi-million pound cost reduction programmes.
She has worked for blue chip names such as Imperial Chemical Industries, Accenture, Transport for London, British Airports Authority and Tesco Stores Ltd. As the former director of property at Tesco's, she was responsible for ca. £1.5 billion spend to procure goods, works and services to build, extend and refit the UK's 2200 stores of different formats and build distribution centres.
She is a passionate implementer of sustainable development and corporate responsibility programmes. One of her most notable achievements is the implementation of ground-breaking supplier diversity requirements in the East London Line contract at Transport for London.
She holds a first class BSc. Honours degree and a post-doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham. She is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and a trustee of the Institute.
